sometimes, i feel as if I'm a fly, soaring, freely and majestically, through the air, living in the moment. not a care in the world and, yet,they have everything to care about. their lives are limited, being cut short by nature, like a guillotine suspended above their heads that has been released unexpectedly. i sympathize with these poor creatures, as my life, too, has also been limited. everyday, i wake up, not guaranteed to live, not guaranteed to die, exceptionally ignorant to what lies ahead of me each passing second. this fact, this cruel, unjust fact has been placed upon my shoulders, weighing down, a thousand pounds, upon my heart and mind. all i can do is hope.
